The 44-year-old looks at least a decade younger than his age, with his prominent cheekbones, flowing locks and smooth, other-worldly complexion. English isn't my mother tongue, so I kinda don't understand whether these young people travelling in Italy met Keanu the other day or maybe watched Speed on the bus or something else... 
"... This takes us to June 22. Chris' birthday. Spent the first hour with Keanu Reeves driving our bus to Florence as if a bomb was triggered to the speedo. Then spent the day wandering through Florence deciding it was our favourite place in Italy..."

The “Cowboy Bebop” movie, on the other hand, seems to actually be moving forward. Writer Peter Craig has already finished the script, and says this about the original “Cowboy Bebop” crew’s involvement in the live-action movie:
met with all of them in Tokyo in December – at a long meeting with Keanu in the room. I thought there was an immediate rapport between all of us, particularly Shinchiro Watanabe and Keanu. |

Keanu Reeves has been praised as a "gentle giant" by his co-star Robin Wright Penn.
The two play an unlikely couple in The Private Lives Of Pippa Lee, which also stars Winona Ryder, Julianne Moore and Blake Lively, and Robin said Keanu was perfect for his role as a kind, soulful slacker.
She said: "I thought he was quite good actually, he's perfect for it - he's a gentle giant."
She went on: "He's very comfortable around girls, thank God because it was a full set of girls!"
The 43-year-old actress added that he made her feel comfortable on set.
"I feel like we were blessed to have him do it, because it didn't feel strange. The dynamic was already there. To me, that's chemical. When a director knows, when they walk in, that that person clicks, and we just had it. We needed Pippa to be seen, and he's the first person that actually sees her for who she is, she knows he sees her, and it's beautiful as she's then allowed to blossom," Robin said. |

June 15th= Keanu apparently flew back from London to LA. (from Rome) Ross Halfin, also attended the LA premiere of Anvil and went to the afterparty at the Darkroom.
"On my flight yesterday (I was flying in the front of the plane with my chum who plays guitar in Led Zeppelin) was that famous soap dodger, Keanu Reeves, looking like he need a few good baths. He must have taken something 'cos he got on, didn't put on the free pyjamas and slept out cold the whole way in his jacket and sunglasses!" |

We know it's a bit cynical to review a film no one apart from festival audiences can see, but we hope this changes soon; at least we can enjoy the anticipation.
Filmstalker Review: The Private Lives of Pippa Lee
I must admit to being a little biased towards this film when I first heard about it, after all it leads with the gorgeous Robin Wright Penn backed by Maria Bello, Monica Bellucci and another surprising return for Wynona Ryder, and while watching it I have to admit to being not only captivated by Robin Wright Penn, but also totally convinced and drawn into her character, and that goes for Maria Bello as well.
The female performances in this film are excellent, and they lead the way with the actors barely able to keep up, but this film is about Pippa and Robin Wright Penn's amazing ability to tell a story and emotion through the simplest of movements or pauses. She does take control of the film, and rightly so. |

Keanu Reeves Project Offered to Delaware
Wilmington, Del. —
The Delaware Film Company is in talks to shoot the next Keanu Reeves film in Delaware.
Brian Sowards, DFC vice president, said Geoffrey Taylor, executive vice president and general counsel of Firstar Films called after reading about the Delaware Film Initiative.
Taylor's practice as general counsel for two Hollywood-based production companies involves options and development of new feature films, equity placement, production financing, co-development transactions as well as structuring print and advertising funds to market feature films. |

Edinburgh International Film Festival: Pippa Lee
EIFF doesn't officially start until tomorrow. However, Pippa screened today along with another film for the press. Short review that is mixed, but where I come from four stars isn't bad.

Keanu Reeves was spotted sharing dinner with Italian director Gabriele Muccino at Sainta Lucia restaurant in Italy today. After downing some wine and laughing together they proceeded outside where Keanu was seen holding what looks like a script!
Maybe their is a collaboration about to happen?

And Toronto's Keanu Reeves was seen riding his trademark motorcycle -- fast -- along Pacific Coast Highway in Santa Monica.

Dear new members and those wishing to register at the Gallery,
I've noticed that out of 170+ newly registered members since January, about one third has never logged in and I would just like to remind you of the following:
The automated reply system sometimes fails to send the approval message and therefore I'd kindly ask you to try to log in with your user name and password a day or two after the registration.
Also, in order to get approved, you need to fill in the form properly (all the fields and with a valid e-mail address) - otherwise you won't get approved.
Being registered here, at the homepage, doesn't automatically mean you are registered at the Gallery (or the forum/message board) as well. You need to register for each of the three boards separately.
And, finally, these guidelines can always be found in the top right box if you click on Read before registering at the Gallery
