When You're In Love With A Beautiful Woman,

It's hard to imagine any woman finding it difficult to fall in love with Keanu Reeves in a movie. But that's exactly what happens when Diane Keaton seems less than thrilled by his character's charms in Nancy Meyer's Something's Gotta Give.

Pippa Lee

From Conneticut Post, May 10, 2008

DERBY — The hallways of Griffin Hospital are generally quiet, but it was especially so on the first floor of the facility late Thursday afternoon.

About a dozen people huddled in the corridor outside an empty room while several others came and went, clipboards in hand.

"Quiet!" they said over and over.

Fans search for glimpses of stars
By Lynda Wellman STAFF WRITER
Article Last Updated: 05/09/2008 09:59:11 AM EDT

A few women among a small, but excited, crowd of fans of Keanu Reeves were squealing with delight whenever the film star stepped out of the Food Mart on Bridge Street last Friday.
The May 2 filming of "The Private Lives of Pippa Lee" didn't draw the crowds that came to watch Adam Sandler in "Mr. Deeds" or "The Six Wives of Henry LeFay" with Tim Allen. Nevertheless, those standing on the sidewalk between the railroad tracks and Patriot's Way around noon had their camera phones clicking whenever the actor appeared outside, cigarette in hand.
New Milford residents Josh and Kathleen Prescott were there to see Mr. Reeves, along with their children Damian, 7, Nucci, 3, Julia, 18 months and their godson Jayden Joskalka, 4.
"We like Keanu," Mrs. Prescott said, adding they came downtown for the filming of "Mr. Deeds" and were able to get Mr. Sandler's autograph.

NEW MILFORD -- At least for one day, Jillian Alps felt like a star.

The general manager of the Heritage Inn on Bridge Street played hostess to film stars Keanu Reeves, Alan Arkin, Winona Ryder and Robin Wright Penn on Monday when scenes from the movie "The Private Lives of Pippa Lee" were filmed in town. The film crew rented four of the property's 20 guest rooms for the day so the actors and actresses could relax between takes. All gave autographs and were gracious with the staff, said Alps, who couldn't pass up getting her picture taken with Reeves. "He was more than happy to sit down with us,"

NEW MILFORD-As two teenagers strode across the Railroad Street parking lot in the enveloping mist last Friday night, one remarked to the other, "If I see Keanu Reeves, I will just die."

The reference was to one of the famous actors starring with a host of others-Robin Wright Penn and Winona Ryder among them-in the comedy/drama written and directed by Rebecca Miller, "The Private Lives of Pippa Lee," that began filming in New Milford late last week and wrapped up early this

Stars come to Danbury: 'Pippa Lee' filming at Barca restaurant
By Eugene Driscoll |

Danbury was treated to a little taste of Hollywood at Barca...Yes, there's an army of movie trucks and giant movie lights outside, along with a lot of sweaty movie crew guys wearing cargo shorts and T-shirts, but the Teacher Parent Store at 93 Mill Plain Road is open for business!

That's the message store worker (and retired Bethel teacher) Donna Pasquariello wants the public to know this afternoon.

Update

From E Online thanks M

Keanu Reeves has just been sucked deeper into a legal matrix.

A Los Angeles judge today shot down a motion by Neo's alter ego to keep a paparazzo from seeking punitive damages for allegedly being dinged by the actor's Porsche.

"There's not a whisper of an accident here," Superior Court Justice Elizabeth Grimes said in her ruling

Returning from small hiatus

What Makes Keanu Cry? By Bruce Wagner
Details Magazine, November 2003

When he rang the doorbell he was holding a black motorcycle half-helmet. He was diffident and shook my hand. Called me sir-perhaps through nervousness, perhaps simply because of my age. I am 10 years older but suddenly felt 60. I gave him a tour of the first level of my home. He drank everything in: walls lined with cork and newspaper clippings. German electric baby grand, and a multitude of books, a (very) few with my name on the cover. He said he was unfamiliar with my work.

Interview

Here are a few excerpt from interviews given by director David Ayer, about Keanu. Thanks caramel.

"Why did you cast Keanu in the leading role?
He actually chose me.  He was attached to the script and he had seen ‘Harsh Times’ and thought that I would be the right guy to direct this, so he picked me. But I was very happy.  He is a great actor.  He gives a psychologically realistic performance that is nuanced and intense.  And after Keanu, we were able to get a great cast. Forest was the second cast member and once we had him as well, people started to perceive this as a much more interesting project."

Movies

From ST.Tv.com

Keanu Reeves look set to star in martial arts movie 'Tai Chi Tiger'. The 'Street Kings' star is on the verge of signing up to play the main villain in the new action-packed movie. Reeves is currently in negotiations with Yuen Wo Ping, the stunt choreographer he worked with when learning kung fu for his role as Neo in 'The Matrix' trilogy. The movie's hero will be played by Tiger Chen Hu, a kung fu expert who worked as a stuntman on 'The Matrix Reloaded' and 'The Matrix Revolutions'. The film is expected to see Keanu and Tiger come head to head in a series of epic and intricately choreographed fight scenes. Keanu can currently be seen in crime thriller 'Street Kings' alongside Oscar-winner Forest Whitaker, 'Fantastic Four' actor Chris Evans and hip-hop stars Common and The Game.
