# Club Keanu (or CK for short) is a fan-site dedicated to the film actor Keanu Reeves

Is it his official fan-site?

# No, it isn’t. We are a group of admirers and enthusiasts from all corners of the world who appreciate Keanu as an actor and a man of great character. It is privately owned by a person whose on-line name is ChicksdigScars.

Can Keanu be contacted via CK?

# No, you can write to his agency or management company but he does NOT read fan mail. Sorry.

What does Club Keanu consist of?

# It consists of three boards: The Homepage (aka news page, main page), the Gallery and the Lounge (aka Message Board or the Forum).

How do I become a member?

# Separate registration is required for each area of the site . Just find the “register” option , click on it, and proceed as instructed.

I’ve registered an account at the main page, but I can’t get into the Gallery or the Message Board. Why – am I doing something wrong?

# Yes – have a look at the previous q/a.

Is the membership free of charge?

# Yes it is, but members frequently send in donations or buy CK goodies in order to help maintain the site.

How do I donated to CK?

# The preferred way is via Paypal, which is located at the homepage on the right side. You will see Donate in red and a paypal logo. Paypal option also takes Mastercard, Visa and other credit cards. Or you can send via snail mail.

What does my money go towards?

# Every cent goes back into CK for hosting fees, server upgrades and maintenance, programs to create new and fun features and many photos for the gallery.

Do you have a store to buy Keanu related items?

# Yes, registered members can log in and click on the DVD link in the Shop box on the homepage left side . You can find calendars, address labels, greeting cards and dvds of tv appearances. The income from these sells also go back into CK.

What are the boxes at the sides of the news page?

# They are feature containers.

What are the features?

# They are separate sections that focus on a particular field such as articles (in the Article Archive), Dogstar (at the Dogstar Page), video clips (at the Web Show) etc.

Can I see all of them?

# Registered members can see them all. Non-registered visitors can only see the ones displayed without logging-in.

What do I do if I have technical problems?

# Email either Chicks or Ginger, contact info is listed at the right side of homepage .

Where do I report glitches, broken links and the like?

# Same as above.

Are Chicks and Ginger in charge of different things or areas?

# No, they both do everything. It really makes no difference which one you contact.

What are themes?

# For registered members where they can change the look of the homepage, message board or gallery. i.e. color, banners, etc.

Can I download anything from CK?

# In most cases yes – there are screensavers, video clips and pix.

How do I communicate to other members?

# We have a Private Message (PM) system at homepage and the Back Room. At homepage, you can send messages from your Inbox in the User Menu (top left box) or write something in the Shout Box for general attention. In the Back Room, use “My Messages” on the top bar .

Is gossip allowed?

# Only to a small degree. Please go to the homepage for rules.
